The bill makes important and significant changes to the environmental assessment process. I do not mean "important" in a positive way; I mean in a detrimental way. It makes detrimental and significant changes to the Fisheries Act. It raises serious concerns about consultation, for example, with First Nations peoples specifically and more generally with the public.
